Mr. Buckles is delighted to have called Providence home since 2013, having taught in the upper school for several years and now serving as headmaster. In addition to his duties as headmaster, Mr. Buckles teaches upper school logic and has a passion to see students become oriented to God’s truth through acquiring the wisdom found in God’s Word and the liberal arts, that they may live godly lives as fruitful witnesses, glorifying Him in both labor and leisure.

“It is a privilege to train students in growing their affections and appetites to delight in that which is true, good, and beautiful. Classical Christian Education is the realization of Christ’s call to ‘go forth and make disciples,’ instilling within them a sense of wonder at the Creator as they develop the skill in language to possess and proclaim His Word, namely the good news of Jesus Christ. Leading students down the ancient pathways of wisdom within a community pursuing holiness is a necessity for the next generation to shine their light in a dark world and walk humbly with their God.”
